WorkshopsThe following workshops and series are perfect for individuals, groups, businesses or organizations that are looking for unique, uplifting, and transformative programs that deliver an unforgettable experience. Each workshop style class includes a Pranayama (Breathing Technique), Kriya (Yoga Set), Meditation and Savasana (Deep Relaxation).
Foundations Of Kundalini Yoga For RecoveryThis workshop is a great introductory to students explaining the benefits of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as a tool for a successful recovery path. Attention is given to how it works on the physiological and energetic imbalances that contributes to destructive behaviors. They will learn the importance of the cycle of Awareness -Surrender-Acceptance and have the opprotunity through dance, introspective exercises, yoga, and meditation to gain a greater awareness of their body and the signals it sends out when it needs help. They will leave with a greater awareness of their body and tools to utilize at home to stay in a state of awareness of their actions.
Understanding Core Issues Within Lower ChakrasWhen walking a path of “returning to your original self” the subconscious needs to be addressed. Most of our actions, reactions, how we feel about ourselves, and how we feel accepted in this world are controlled by the balance or imbalance of our chakra system. In this workshop we will discuss what the chakra system, the importance of clearing and balancing the first three chakras, and identifying the core issues held in each chakra such as: lack of self-respect, low self-esteem, perfectionism, sexual dysfunctions and many more. Students will leave the workshop with a greater awareness of core issues that may be affecting their quality of life, which chakra(s) to focus on, and a specific yoga posture to work on at home to assist with clearing and balancing.
Body Awareness and Self-ImageOutside beauty may fade but inner beauty radiates forever. True beauty and a healthy self-image comes from how you are feeling from the inside out. Kundalini Yoga understands this. In this workshop we will discuss the western view of body image and how this affects both men and women. Students will become aware of how to create inner beauty from the inside out with Kundalini Yoga tools such as strengthening the auric and radiant bodies, philosophy, and nutrition. Videos, Mirror and group exercises are utilized.
Learning To Love YourselfBelieve it or not most people have to “learn” to love themselves because no one taught them how. At the root of self-destructive behavior is a lack of self-love. In this workshop students will discuss new definitions of self-love, get to know the wonderful qualities that reside within, and learn tools to deal with self-critism. The love fest continues with students creating a work of art to take home as a self-love reminder. This workshop is like wrapping a warm blanket of love around yourself.
Self Worth: What Is Your Value?Values are like helpful reminders to treat ourselves and those around us with respect. In this workshop the focus is on understanding the importance of having a set of values to build self-worth. This is an introspective workshop designed to give students a deeper understanding of their own values and how their values can influence their choices in life. Students will leave with a special tool to use at home as a reminder of their worth.
Self Acceptance: Strengths and WeaknessesIt is important to accept our weaknesses as well as our strengths. When their is acceptance of weaknesses there is no longer need for being frustrated or critical of self. In this workshop students will be encouraged to get honest and explore their strengths and weaknesses. They will leave with a new appreciation of their weaknesses as well as their strengths and how both can work for them in a positive way.
Roadblocks On Your Path To ChangeWhen we are taken out of our serenity that is an indication something in or around us needs to change. In this workshop students have the time and space to get honest about one or more things within their lives they would like to change. They will then be able to examine the “roadblocks” they put up such as, Beliefs, Denial, Ideas about Self, and more.
Releasing Inner AngerA safe, fun, and supportive enviroment is created to assist students in releasing those stuffed down, buried feelings of anger and frustration. In this workshop students will gain a greater awareness of where in their everyday lives and physical bodies anger may be causing imbalances. How anger can work for them and not against them. Breathing techniques for burning out inner anger and cooling the “fire” within will be taught. Students will learn about the lower three chakras through dancing and experience their own “angry dance”. A yoga set specifically for Relieving Inner Anger will be practiced, along with tips and other tools for safely releasing inner anger, and a meditation to open the heart center.

Pranic Body: Becoming FearlessIn this workshop students will learn about the Pranic body as a tool to create fearlessness. They will understand how a weak Pranic body can cause low level anxiety, low energy levels, and an everyday fear that bad things can happen. They will also learn how a strong Pranic body can create fearlessness by deepening a connection to a higher power. Students will come face to face with many of the common reasons people find it scary to go down a path of recovery/change. A special mantra/meditation will be practiced that vibrates the whole essence of “living in the known and unknown will of a higher power.” This is a tool that can be utilized daily. This mantra creates the vibration within of “ turning it over.” So students are not only asking ,but, they are literally changing their vibration to create that reality. This creates fearlessness. Spiritual principles of humility and surrender are emphasized. Tissues provided.
Cultivating CourageWhen one is embarking on a path of change a certain level of courage is required to keep moving forward. In this workshop students will learn about the main types of courage along with the principles of honesty, open-mindedness and willingness. In addition to the kriya (yoga set) that will be practiced students will learn a specific posture
to use as a tool when courage, focus, and inner strength is needed in a moments notice. A special take home gift is provided to remind each student of the courage that lies within.
Throwing Off Stress“The American Medical Association has noted that stress was the basic cause of more than 60 percent of all human illness and disease.”
“Every week, 95 million Americans suffer some kind of stress related symptoms for which they take medication.”
“A 20-year study conducted by the University of London concluded that unmanaged reactions to stress were a more dangerous risk factor for cancer and heart disease than either cigarette smoking or high cholesterol foods.”
“A person in recovery gets in the “Danger Zone” when they become to tired, stressed, hungry, and overworked. If their nerves aren’t strong enough the desire to reach out for something to deal with the imbalance becomes increased.”
In this workshop students will learn the importance of having a strong vital nervous system to assist them with facing life on life’s terms. They will learn special breathing techniques to strengthen the nerves, release stress, and move through anxiety. Focus will be placed on managing reactions to stress, importance of nutrition, and plenty of tips and tools to create a low-stress enviroment. A special guided meditation will be practiced and a copy of the meditation is included for students to take home and use as a relaxation tool.
Dealing With DepressionHave you heard the saying, “Depression is anger turned inward?” How about “Depression is a disconnection from the soul?” In this safe, supportive, workshop students will gain a different perspective of what depression is and learn how to use it as a positive life changing tool. Students will learn a specific uplifting breathing technique specifically for depression. A yoga set focusing on the benefits of building a strong electro-magnetic field (aura) to assist with lifting depression. A special guided meditation will be practiced and a copy of the meditation is included for students to take home and continue their journey.
Creative Energy: Connecting To Our True NatureIn order to return to our “original” selves it is important to let our creative energy flow. This is what allows one to reconnect to the joy in life. Yoga means “yoke” yoking our finite sense of self with the infinte awareness that there is no seperation. One can acheive this the same way by honoring their creative energy and letting it flow.
In this workshop students will learn how the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation can open the floodgates of their creativity. A special yoga set for creativity is practiced focusing on the specific chakras that open the “creative flow”. Students will be introduced to what the ten light bodies of consciousness are and practice a meditation focusing on, The Soul Body to “access your purpose and creative flow in life.”
Learn how the act of free form dance and an all out coloring fest can connect you to your true nature and help you find your answers within. Kristianna offers her single workshops in a two Six -Week class series format. It gives students an opprotunity to make a commitment to the self by returning each week and building on the teachings and activities of the previous week thus creating a deeper level of transformation. Students will leave each class with an small assignment for the week to assist in integrating the teachings and prepare for the next weeks class. All classes are available as single workshops.
